Visitors may smoke only within the designated Smoking Area on Nami Island. Smoking is banned elsewhere. On December 2010, Nami Island was designated a UNICEF Child Friendly Park. This was a first for Korea and only the 14th park in the world to receive such designation. Thus, for the safety of children, Nami Island declared itself to be a non-smoking area.

Camping, cooking, and setting up tent or shade is prohibited. Please help us protect our trees and lawns.

Using audio equipment, amplifiers or speakers are prohibited.

Personal rides (bicycles, electronic scooters, kickboards and etc.) are prohibited on board. Visitors are welcome to rent bicycles from the Bike Center, take the Story Tour Bus or Charity Train.

Launching, landing or operating unmanned aircraft or drones is prohibited on Nami Island.

Pets less than 15kg and on a leash are allowed on Nami Island. Guests visiting with pets may enter Gomok Restaurant, Seomhyanggi Restaurant, Swing Café & Bakery and use allotted areas. Pets are allowed on all outdoor facilities and terraces. (In accordance with the government’s The Animal Protection Act, a total of five breeds and their half-breeds, including Tosa, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Rottweiler, are not allowed on Nami Island.) For pets other than dogs, contact the Customer Service Center in advance. In accordance with the Act on Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, certified assistance dogs are permitted without restriction.

In order to preserve the ecosystem and prevent water pollution, fishing is prohibited on Nami Island.

For wildlife protection, use of flashlight during night photography is prohibited.
