When is the peak season for autumn foliage?

Nami Island’s autumn foliage is beloved by many visitors.

While the peak season varies slightly each year depending on the weather, it generally falls between mid-October and early November.

Starting in mid-October, trees like the Katsura and maple trees begin to turn, while the ginkgo trees usually turn yellow a bit later, often around late October. The ginkgo season is short, but it’s the most stunning during this time.

By mid-November, you can enjoy the late autumn atmosphere as the Ginkgo leaves brought from Songpa-gu cover the Ginkgo Tree Lane.

Updates on the autumn foliage are regularly shared through Nami Island’s official social media channels during the season.
